The "Museo del Novecento" at Palazzo dell'Arengario,
Milan,
does not, unfortunately meet its promises.
The historical period presented is disproportionally covered,
some artistic movements
are poorly analyzed
while others give the impression
of being the real core of the collection
(De Chirico, to name one).
But the building itself is a pleasant surprise in its last floor :
the view on the Duomo Cathedral
is a première on the huge
work of art that took around 6oo
years to complete
(and is already under permanent restoration).

can guide through the artistic path of the XX century
providing some funny and random curiosities,
encounters
and surprises.
